The employee dashboard is composed of two major segments. The User Profile and the Request Viewer
The user profile is located at the top of the employee dashboard. It contains the employees name and current vacation and PTO hours availlable. The Hour balances are updated automatically when a request is made. Hours are only returned if the request is DENIED or WITHDRAWN.
The Request Viewer shows all active requests made by the employee. The requests are color coded to show the status of each request, and also display other data about the request. To view your request in more detail, click the green View Request button to open the Request Viewer.
If you made a mistake in a request, or need to change the dates, you can withdraw a request. To do this, click on the Withdraw button on the right side of the Request Viewer for the specific request. If a Request has not been approved or denied yet, the request can be withdrawn and automatically deleted. Otherwise, a withdraw request is sent to the administrator for approval.
